Deal said to be worth "tens of millions" as A24's adaptation heads to the American Film Market, per Deadline.

Amazon MGM Studios has reportedly acquired international pay-one streaming rights to A24's Elden Ring movie, according to a Deadline report relayed by ComingSoon.net. The deal is said to be worth "tens of millions of dollars."

The news comes as A24 prepares to shop the film at the American Film Market, where Deadline describes it as the biggest-budget standalone project ever offered at a film or TV market. Reported budget estimates now sit between $175 million and $200 million, making Elden Ring A24's most expensive production to date by a wide margin.

Could Twitch be involved?

ComingSoon.net's report also notes the Amazon deal could lead to future promotional tie-ins with Twitch, which Amazon owns. Nothing has been confirmed on that front, and it's worth treating as speculative for now.

Still unconfirmed

Neither A24, Amazon MGM, nor the Elden Ring movie's official channels have confirmed this deal publicly. As with other pre-release dealmaking news, we're filing this as a rumour until an official announcement lands, and we'll update this article if that changes.
